Track Guide
The Chinese Grand Prix delivers a blend of architectural drama, high‑speed racing, and big‑city spectacle that few circuits can match. Designed by Hermann Tilke and shaped like the Chinese character “上” (shàng, meaning “above” or “ascend”), the track is a statement of ambition—and the racing lives up to it.
Why should I go?
Shanghai is one of the worlds most vibrant and dynamic cities full of great bars and awesome restaurants. Track is easy to access from downtown via the Metro Line 11 which take around 60min.
Best place to watch?
We love Grandstand K which overlooks Turns 14 & 15 for great overtaking. Turn 6 has also proven a great spot to over take.
